Within this role, Prescott will work collaboratively with internal partners to recommend digital and social strategies in order to drive traffic, create awareness and increase customer engagement. As the manager of Public Relations activities, Prescott will oversee communications with blogger and media contacts, support event marketing initiatives and support general copywriting, press releases and editorials. He will also work closely with clients to create, execute and manage their strategic social media and digital marketing initiatives.
Prescott brings fifteen years of hands-on experience as a marketing executive designing, directing and implementing Branding and Public Relations campaigns from concept through production. Adept at identifying current and emerging trends, Prescott is a proven expert in developing targeted programs that drive business, build customer loyalty and generate brand identity, while reducing operational expenses.
Before to joining the Marketsmith, Inc. team, Prescott served as VP Marketing and Communication at The Aidem Group, where he coordinated all marketing and branding efforts for internal brands and clients within the fashion and entertainment industries. Prior to Aidem Group, Prescott held several VP and Director level marketing positions for such fashion apparel retailers as Vida Shoes (Osh Kosh, Carter’s, Esprit, etc.), Azzure Denim, Southpole & Lot 29 and Aeropostale.
Prescott holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Entertainment Marketing with a Minor in Communications from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
